Our Leadership Team and the recipients, Get on the Bus, SAGE Project and Abode Services

A Celebratory Dinner was held on Friday evening, November 2, 2012 in recognition of our mission “to seek out and advocate for the poor and needy, especially families, for the kingdom of God”  the Sisters invited representatives of three groups who have received Grants from the SHF Mission Fund. (A full photo album of the evening is located here: Facebook Album of Foundation Day 2012 ) 

AbodeAbode Services – Louis Chicoine, Executive Director, Abode Services.
Abode works with homeless families to provide emergency shelter and assistance in finding housing and they also operate the HOPE Project Mobile Health Clinic.

Get on the Bus

Get On the Bus – Alayna Johnson, Northern California Regional Coordinator.
Get on the Bus provides transportation to unite children with their mothers and fathers in prison.

SAGESAGE – Standing Against Global Exploitation – Ellyn Bell, Executive Director.
SAGE assists victims of Human Trafficking to develop safety plans including access to government benefits, safe housing, and networks for support.
During dessert each of the individuals from the groups gave a short presentation about their organization and each received a certificate of recognition, as well as a $1,000 contribution for each organization’s continuing work.
